Cement mortar for concrete Betonfix R30 GG Kimia

What it is

Kimia Betonfix R30 GG ready-to-use cement-based skim mortar, for reinforced concrete, masonry and plaster substrates. Compared with Betonfix R30 (0.5 mm) it has coarser aggregate, up to 1.2 mm. The additives make it waterproof, resistant to freeze-thaw cycles and well bonded; it is applied in thin layers up to 5 mm of total thickness. It is CE marked to EN 1504-3 and EN 998-1.

Mortars and cements are powder or two-component products which, once mixed, are used to repair, render, fill or bond masonry, concrete and other substrates.

What it is for

Used for skimming surfaces before finishing, for skimming walls and ceilings before painting and for workshop and on-site repairs.

How to use it

Prepare a clean, sound substrate; for cement and lime mortars, pre-wet it to saturation without leaving standing water on the surface. Mix with the amount of water or component stated on the data sheet, using a low-speed mixer, until the mix is uniform. Apply by trowel, float or plastering machine within the pot life, and protect the surface from rapid drying during the first few days.
