UN-approved big bag for asbestos and hazardous waste 1000 L 900x900x1200 mm Carvel

What it is

1000-litre big bag, UN approved and marked, for packaging waste containing asbestos and other hazardous waste. The anti-UV polypropylene fabric has a leak-tight polyethylene inner liner, and printed on the sides are the R on a yellow background, the code 13H3/Y, ADR class 9 and the word asbestos. It has a safety factor of 6/1, a load capacity of 1000 kg, four lifting straps and an A4 pocket for documents.

Waste and hazardous material containers are bins, waste containers and spill trays for segregating waste and containing leaks from drums and jerrycans.

What it is for

Used for demolishing masonry and concrete structures, for managing and collecting production and job-site waste and for transporting production waste.

How to use it

Choose the container according to the type of waste or substance and label it clearly. Stand drums on a spill tray of adequate volume, keeping incompatible substances apart. Empty them regularly, clean collected liquids out of the trays and dispose of everything through authorised channels.

Safe use

Asbestos removal and packaging are the responsibility of authorised firms, with the PPE and procedures set out in the work plan. Tie off the sweet-wrapper-style neck before lifting the sack and fill in the document pocket with the waste data.
