Medium-strength methacrylate and PTFE-based anaerobic threadlocker Block Liquidi NPT Sigill

What it is

is a white, medium-strength anaerobic thread-locking sealant formulated to lock and seal threaded fittings and pipework. It is suitable for replacing hemp and PTFE tapes, forming an elastic film capable of withstanding impacts, vibration and sudden temperature changes, and ensuring a perfect seal that resists compressed air, water, hydrocarbons and chemical compounds. It has good chemical resistance to water/glycol mixture, brake fluid, engine oil and acetone. Certified and tested to: DVGW DIN EN 751-1 GASTEK DIN-54454: 80% of the breakaway torque retained after 1000 hours

Threadlocker is a liquid anaerobic adhesive applied to the thread of screws and nuts to lock them and prevent them from working loose through vibration. It comes in different strengths: the stronger it is, the harder it is to disassemble.

What it is for

Used in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, for pipe laying and for sealing joints, gaps and service penetrations.

How to use it

Clean and degrease the threads, apply a drop to the thread of the screw and screw it in. It cures in the absence of air, in contact with metal, in times that depend on the material and the temperature; wait for the stated time before loading the part. To disassemble the strong types, heat the part. Wear gloves and avoid contact with the skin.
