What it is
The IS-CE PF insulation plug by Bossong is a plastic fixing system with an iron pin, designed for the secure anchoring of insulation panels on concrete, solid masonry and hollow masonry substrates. Fitted with a head with a 60 mm diameter, this hammer-in plug ensures stability and strength in thermal insulation applications in residential and commercial building and in renovation. The range includes the 10 mm diameter in various lengths, to suit variable thicknesses of insulation and substrate.
Plasterboard and insulation fixings are fixings that open out behind the board or hold insulation panels in place, for fixing to hollow walls and ETICS insulation systems.
What it is for
Used for general-purpose fixing into masonry, concrete and timber and for thermal insulation of walls, roofs and pipework.
How to use it
Drill the board with a suitable bit or screw the self-drilling plug in directly, without hammer action. Insert the fixing and tighten it until it opens out behind the board, without overtightening so as not to break through the plasterboard. For insulation, drill through to the load-bearing substrate and insert the fixing flush with the panel, using the specified setting tool.
