What it is

The bull float is a large flat float, mounted on a long pole, for levelling and closing the surface of freshly poured concrete without walking on it.

What it is for

Used for finishing fresh concrete and for pouring concrete, from formwork to vibration.

How to use it

Fit it on the pole and pass it over the freshly screeded pour with broad, regular movements, keeping the leading edge slightly raised so as not to dig in. It removes the screed marks and closes the surface before the other finishing operations. Wash immediately after use.
