What it is
These are small hook pulleys, with a zamak or brass wheel and a wheel diameter of 30, 40, 50 or 60 mm, for a total of eight versions. With wheels of these sizes they are suited to light ropes and cords, not to construction-site lifting. The wheel material matters: brass generally resists damp better than zamak.
Pulleys, hoists and winches are devices for lifting or pulling loads with ropes or chains, reducing effort through mechanical advantage or a motor.

How to use it
Check that the capacity of the device and of the attachment point exceeds the load, and hang it from a solid structure with the hook safety latch closed. Lift slowly, with the load hanging vertically below the attachment point, and never stand underneath. Before use, check the rope or chain, hooks and brake, and carry out the periodic inspections required for lifting equipment.
