What it is

It is a real prefabricated house made up of removable living modules: the Italian acronym PMAR stands for removable prefabricated modular housing units. It can be a self-contained unit or bring several dwellings together, and it is built from Serie M1 modules, which are sturdy, easy to handle and fully equipped, and adapt to the needs of use.

What it is for

It provides a complete home for people who have lost their own home or cannot return to it, for example families affected by an earthquake, for the whole duration of the reconstruction. The units have a floor area of 30, 45, 60 or 75 m² depending on the number of occupants, with single and double bedrooms, living room, entrance hall, kitchen and bathroom, which is also designed for people with disabilities.

Customisation options

To make them suitable for living in during the winter months as well, the units are insulated, with walls containing expanded polyurethane of substantial thickness, and are fitted with sturdy windows and doors. Each dwelling is equipped with plumbing and electrical systems and with heat-pump air conditioning and heating. The floor area and the layout of the rooms are chosen according to the number of occupants, from the four sizes between 30 and 75 m².

Before you order

In your request, state how many units are needed and of what floor area, the number of occupants for each, the room layout, whether accessible bathrooms are required, the fittings (systems, climate control, furnishings), the surface area of the site and the destination for transport. Installation is on concrete slabs, foundation kerbs or blocks: the calculation and execution of the foundations are the customer's responsibility, and permits from the local authorities depend on use and size.
