What it is

The DeWalt DCD100YD2T-QW combi drill is a commemorative model celebrating 100 years of the brand, belonging to the 18 V XR platform. Powered by 2 Ah batteries, it delivers a maximum torque of 68 Nm and has two mechanical speeds (0-450 and 0-1,650 rpm) with hammer action of up to 28,050 blows per minute, for drilling and screwdriving even in demanding materials. The chuck accepts bits from 1.5 to 13 mm and gives drilling capacities of 13 mm in metal and masonry and 30 mm in wood. With a weight of just 1.09 kg, a power output of 420 W and the integrated LED light, it combines performance and handiness.

How to use it

Fit the bit suited to the material and choose the mode: screwdriving with the clutch, drilling, or hammer action only for masonry. Drill holding the tool square to the surface and without forcing, letting the bit do the work. Wear safety glasses and, for prolonged drilling, hearing protection.
