What it is

The DeWalt DCS438N-XJ is a compact mini cut-off saw from the XR 18V platform, supplied as a bare unit for those who already have batteries and chargers from the system. Cordless and with a weight of just 0.94 kg, it is an extremely handy tool, designed for quick, precise cuts in tight spaces where traditional cut-off saws are bulky.

The mini cut-off saw is a small portable cordless cut-off saw, with a small-diameter disc, for accurately cutting bars, tubes and sections.

What it is for

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece and choose a disc suited to the material, with a compatible maximum speed. Let it reach full speed and cut with constant pressure, without twisting the disc. The guard always stays in place. Wear safety glasses, gloves, ear defenders and a dust mask; remove the battery before changing the disc.
