What it is

The DeWalt DCG409NT-XJ is a cordless angle grinder from the 18 V XR range with FlexVolt Advantage technology, offered as a bare unit. It takes 125 mm diameter discs and develops a no-load speed of 9000 rpm, suited to cutting and grinding operations on metals and building materials. With a weight of 1.8 kg it is handy and easy to control even in prolonged work. Battery power ensures complete freedom of movement on site.

How to use it

Fit a disc suited to the job, with a diameter and maximum speed compatible with the machine, tighten it with the flange and key and position the guard between disc and operator. Hold with both hands using the side handle, start it unloaded and work without forcing and without twisting the disc in the cut. Wear safety glasses or a face shield, gloves and ear defenders, and unplug the machine before changing the disc.
