125 XR 18V angle grinder with FlexVolt Advantage DeWalt DCG409T1-QW

What it is

The DeWalt DCG409T1-QW is a cordless angle grinder from the 18 V XR platform with FlexVolt Advantage technology, supplied in a configuration with a 6 Ah battery. It uses 125 mm diameter discs and reaches a no-load speed of 9000 rpm, offering sound performance in cutting and grinding metals and building materials. With a weight of 1.8 kg it keeps a good balance between power and handling, while the supplied battery lets you start work straight away without being tied to a cable.

An angle grinder is an electric, cordless or pneumatic rotating disc tool for cutting, deburring, wire brushing and, with accessories, polishing.

How to use it

Fit a disc suited to the job, with a diameter and maximum speed compatible with the machine, tighten it with the flange and key and position the guard between disc and operator. Hold with both hands using the side handle, start it unloaded and work without forcing and without twisting the disc in the cut. Wear safety glasses or a face shield, gloves and ear defenders, and unplug the machine before changing the disc.
