What it is

The DeWalt DCG418T2-QW is a cordless angle grinder from the 54 V XR FlexVolt platform, supplied in a complete configuration with two 6 Ah batteries. It takes 125 mm diameter discs and reaches a no-load speed of 9000 rpm, with high performance in cutting and grinding metals and building materials. Compact in size – 400 mm long and 125 mm high – and with a weight of 2.18 kg, it offers power and control. The kit of two 6 Ah batteries lets you work for a long time by alternating the packs.

An angle grinder is an electric, cordless or pneumatic rotating disc tool for cutting, deburring, wire brushing and, with accessories, polishing.

Used for grinding parts and sharpening tools, for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs and for cutting metal sections, sheet and tube.

How to use it

Fit a disc suited to the job, with a diameter and maximum speed compatible with the machine, tighten it with the flange and key and position the guard between disc and operator. Hold with both hands using the side handle, start it unloaded and work without forcing and without twisting the disc in the cut. Wear safety glasses or a face shield, gloves and ear defenders, and unplug the machine before changing the disc.
