125mm 54V XR FlexVolt angle grinder, dead-man switch - body only DeWalt

What it is

The DeWalt DCG418SHDN is a cordless angle grinder from the 54 V XR FlexVolt platform, with a 125 mm disc size and a 54 V brushless motor that ensures greater power, efficiency and durability. It is fitted with a side handle with a 2-position switch for better comfort and control, and a rubber covering that provides improved grip and comfort during use. The dead-man switch contributes to safer use in demanding work. It is offered as a bare unit.

What it is for

Used for grinding parts and sharpening tools, for grinding and cleaning up weld seams and burrs and for cutting metal sections, sheet and tube.

How to use it

Fit a disc suited to the job, with a diameter and maximum speed compatible with the machine, tighten it with the flange and key and position the guard between disc and operator. Hold with both hands using the side handle, start it unloaded and work without forcing and without twisting the disc in the cut. Wear safety glasses or a face shield, gloves and ear defenders, and unplug the machine before changing the disc.
