What it is

The DeWalt DT43947-QZ Extreme bonded grinding disc is an abrasive for angle grinders in the 125 mm size with a depressed-centre profile, as indicated by the designation 125x6,3x22,23mm. The depressed-centre geometry is designed for deburring work with the tool held at an angle. The pack contains a single piece.

A grinding disc is an abrasive disc that removes burrs, weld beads, rust and paint from metal and prepares or finishes its surface.

How to use it

Fit it on the angle grinder or suitable backing pad, checking that its diameter, bore and maximum speed are compatible with the machine, and with the guard in place. Work with the disc tilted a few degrees to the workpiece, moving it back and forth without forcing. Never use a grinding disc for cutting, and replace it if cracked or worn; wear safety glasses or a face shield and gloves.
