1/4 sheet, pre-punched - 8 round holes DeWalt DT3012-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT3012-QZ abrasive sheet is a 1/4-sheet format, pre-punched with 8 circular holes, intended for orbital sanders and supplied in a pack of 25 pieces. Grit 60 sits midway between rough sanding and intermediate sanding, suited to evening out surfaces after the first, more aggressive pass. The holes help dust extraction for cleaner work.

Sandpaper is an abrasive in sheet or disc form, often hook-and-loop backed, for fitting to sanders or backing pads to sand wood, metal, paint and filler.

Used for sanding surfaces before painting, for sanding surfaces, as preparation or as a finish and for sanding wood before varnishing or finishing.

How to use it

Choose the same shape and hole pattern as the backing pad, so that the holes line up for dust extraction. Start with a coarse grit (low number) and move to finer grits up to the finish without skipping too many steps. Sand with light pressure, keeping the machine moving, and change the sheet when it is clogged or worn smooth.
