Extreme spade bit DeWalt DT4772-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT4772-QZ is an Extreme spade bit for wood of 26 mm diameter, with an overall length of 152 mm. The flat-blade geometry with centring point allows fast, flat-bottomed holes of wide section in wood, ensuring precise positioning at the start and a fast feed, ideal for serial work.

How to use it

Place the centre point on the mark and start at low speed; always use large-diameter spade and Forstner bits at reduced speed. To avoid breakout, rest the workpiece on a piece of scrap wood or finish the hole from the opposite side. Use extensions for deep holes, locking them by tightening the screw firmly.
