Cobalt HSS-E drill bits 6mm loose x10 DeWalt DT4933-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT4933-QZ comprises 10 metal drill bits with a diameter of 6 mm in cobalt high-speed steel, with a cobalt cutting edge designed to withstand the high temperatures generated when drilling steel. Each bit has a working length of 57 mm and an overall length of 93 mm, sizes that offer good penetration while maintaining tool stability.

What it is for

How to use it

Mark the centre with a centre punch, clamp the workpiece and drill at a speed that is lower the larger the diameter and the harder the material. Maintain steady pressure, lubricate with cutting oil on steel and stainless steel and, for large diameters, drill a pilot hole first. Withdraw the bit frequently to clear the swarf, and never touch the swarf with bare hands.
