SDS Max hollow bit 20 mm DeWalt DT60232-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT60232-QZ hollow drill bit offers a 20 mm diameter with an SDS Max shank, designed for drilling masonry with professional rotary hammers. The Y-cutter head with 4 cutting edges promotes precise starting and efficient debris evacuation, while the working length of 400 mm over an overall length of 67 cm allows deep holes to be drilled. The SDS Max shank ensures optimal hammering performance; the bit weighs 1.147 kg.

The hollow drill bit with extraction is a bit with a bored shank that collects the dust directly from the hole and carries it to the connected vacuum cleaner, for drilling with very little dust.

What it is for

Used for drilling reinforced concrete, in hammer or rotary hammer mode and for drilling solid and hollow masonry, clay brick and blocks.

How to use it

Connect the hollow shank to the vacuum cleaner with the specified adapter and switch on the extraction before drilling. Drill with the hammer action, without forcing, keeping the bit in line. Check that the hose does not become blocked and empty the container. Even with extraction, wear a dust mask and safety glasses, because silica dust is harmful.
