4-flute SDS-plus bit DeWalt DT9682-QZ

What it is

The DeWalt DT9682-QZ SDS-Plus drill bit is a 4-cutter tool with an 18 mm diameter, an overall length of 250 mm and 200 mm of usable working length. The carbide-insert head and four-cutter geometry promote fast, well-centred hammer drilling in concrete, with greater durability when rebar is encountered. The SDS PLUS shank allows quick changes in hammers and rotary hammers.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
