What it is

The DeWalt DT99576-QZ circular saw blade from the Extreme Runtime range has a diameter of 305 mm, a 30 mm bore and 78 carbide teeth, with a cutting thickness (kerf) of 2.16 mm, a blade thickness of 1.6 mm and clockwise direction of rotation. The particularly fine ATB+R tooth configuration with a hook angle of 7 degrees is designed for high-finish multi-material cutting. It is supplied as a single piece in a blister pack.

A circular saw blade is a toothed disc, usually carbide-tipped, for circular saws, mitre saws and plunge saws; it cuts wood, panels, metals and plastics.

Used for cutting solid wood, panels and battens, on the bench or on site.

How to use it

Choose a blade with a diameter, bore and kerf compatible with the machine and teeth suited to the material: fewer teeth for fast cuts, more for fine cuts. With the machine unplugged, fit it with the rotation arrow matching that of the saw and tighten the flange. Cut with the guard working, letting the blade reach full speed before entering the workpiece, and wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
