What it is
The DeWalt DWHT14675-0 tinsnips are a hand tool for cutting sheet metal, with a straight cutting direction and a standard-type jaw. Fitted with an ergonomic handle for more comfortable prolonged use, they offer a cutting capacity of 40 mm; at 260 mm long and weighing 500 g, they are designed to provide leverage and control during work.

How to use it
Choose the model for the material and thickness: right-cut, left-cut or straight-cut aviation snips for sheet metal, loppers for gardening, and a bench shear for thicker sheet. Feed the material deep into the blades, close to the pivot, and close them with a firm movement without twisting. Wear cut-resistant gloves against sheet metal edges and keep the blades clean, lubricated and with the pivot properly adjusted.
