Alkylate petrol is a special fuel with a low aromatics content and no benzene, for the two-stroke and four-stroke engines of powered equipment; it is also available pre-mixed with oil.

What it is for

Used for clearing long grass, brambles and scrub along verges, embankments and overgrown land, in forestry work and in grounds maintenance, from regular mowing to the end-of-season clean-up.

How to use it

Pour it into the tank with the machine switched off and cold, in a well-ventilated place away from flames, using a funnel or a can with a spout. Straight fuel for two-stroke engines is mixed with oil in the proportion indicated by the manufacturer; pre-mixed fuel is used as it is. Store in approved cans, closed, away from sunlight and heat.
