What it is

The line head is the device with a nylon line that is fitted to a brushcutter or grass trimmer and cuts the grass by rotation; the line is extended by hand, by bumping it on the ground, or automatically.
What it is for
Used for clearing long grass, brambles and scrub along verges, embankments and overgrown land, in grounds maintenance, from regular mowing to the end-of-season clean-up and for mowing lawns and large green areas.
How to use it
With the machine switched off and the battery removed, screw the head onto the shaft and load the line of the stated diameter and length. Work with the guard fitted and the line at the right length, avoiding stones and fences. Replace the line when it is worn or broken and keep the head clean.
