What it is

The Fervi 0688 universal milling attachment for lathes is an accessory that extends the machining capabilities of the lathe, allowing milling operations to be carried out using the machine already in the workshop. Its compact structure is defined by a series of reference dimensions (52, 80, 65, 220, 37, 110, 46 and 150 mm) and it weighs 5.88 kg, with packaging of 270x250x140 h mm.

What it is for

Used for milling faces, shoulders and slots on machine tools, in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts and for turning metal parts, both roughing and finishing.

How to use it

Secure the machine to a stable bench or floor and connect it to a suitable electrical or compressed-air supply. Clamp the workpiece firmly, adjust the guards and tool rest, and wear safety glasses; keep gloves, loose clothing and long hair away from rotating parts. Work with moderate feed rates and clear away swarf and dust only when the machine has stopped.
