Mini bench sandblaster Fervi 0490

What it is

The Fervi 0490 mini benchtop sandblaster is a compact blasting cabinet designed for cleaning, paint stripping and finishing small components in an enclosed, controlled environment. It has useful internal dimensions of 410 x 310 x 200h mm and an internal volume of 32 L, with a 420 x 260 mm opening for loading the parts. It works at an operating pressure of 4 - 7.5 bar and an estimated air consumption of 50 L/min, through Ø 3.5 mm gun nozzles, and is fitted with internal lighting (50 Hz, 6 W 12 V) for good visibility while working. The external overall size is 475 x 370 x 370h mm, with a net weight of 12 kg.

How to use it

Load dry abrasive suited to the material and connect to a compressor with sufficient air delivery, using dried air. Work with the nozzle angled and at a constant distance; with mobile blasters the operator wears an air-fed blast hood, gloves and overalls. Replace the cabinet window protectors when they become cloudy, and sieve or renew the abrasive.
