Vibration meter Fervi V002

What it is

The Fervi V002 is a portable digital vibration meter: it detects the vibrations of machines and rotating parts as acceleration (0.1-400 m/s²), velocity (0.01-40 cm/s) and displacement (0.001-4 mm), with ±5% accuracy. The specifications also state a balancing range expressed in revolutions per minute. It is supplied with a magnetic probe, 2 tips, software and a USB cable, and runs on 4 AA 1.5 V batteries.

Electrical and gas measuring instruments include testers, clamp meters, cable detectors, moisture meters and gas detectors for checks and diagnostics on site and in maintenance.

What it is for

Used for inspecting plant, pipework and structures, for industrial maintenance of plant and machinery and for measuring on site and in the workshop.

How to use it

Choose an instrument with the measurement category suited to the installation and check that the probes and leads are undamaged. Select the quantity and range before connecting and, on live circuits, wear insulating gloves and do not touch the metal parts of the probes. Switch on and zero gas and moisture detectors in a clean environment before measuring.
