Gas Detectors

Gas detectors signal the presence of hazardous or flammable gases in the air, or a lack of oxygen, and raise an alarm before the concentration becomes a risk. They are used on site, in confined spaces, in plants and in homes.

How to choose

Start from the gas to be detected and the environment. For an operator working in confined spaces, a portable detector for the specific gas is needed, with periodic calibration and checks. For the home or a fixed installation, a detector dedicated to methane, LPG or carbon monoxide is enough. The spray locates leaks but does not replace a detector.
