What it is

With a diameter of Ø 8.75 mm, the Fervi ST1A08.75 is a twist drill bit for professional drilling that requires precise intermediate sizes. The flute profile guides chip ejection smoothly, helping to keep hole quality consistent, while the 118° point angle ensures centring and stability at the start of the cut. The 700-740 HV hardness ensures good wear resistance of the cutting edge during intensive use.

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
