Milling point Fervi P036/06

What it is

The Fervi P036/06 milling drill bit is a combined tool for drilling and material removal, with a diameter of Ø 6 mm and an overall length of 66 mm, made of steel. This type of tool combines drilling and milling functions, allowing versatile work on the material with a single tool fitted to the power tool or machine.

A metal drill bit is an HSS or cobalt twist drill, with a straight or taper shank, for drilling steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics.

What it is for

Used for drilling steel, stainless steel and aluminium, on a pillar drill or with a hand-held drill and in workshop machining of steel, aluminium and alloy parts.

How to use it

Clamp the workpiece in a vice, mark the centre and set the speed for the diameter and material: low for hard steels and large diameters, higher for aluminium and plastic. Lubricate with cutting oil on steel; on plastic, reduce the pressure as the bit breaks through to avoid chipping. Insert taper-shank drills into the pillar drill's spindle taper and remove them with a drift.
