Set of multilock combination spanners Fervi 0187

What it is

The Fervi 0187 multilock combination spanner set is a range of combination spanners with a multilock profile, able to fit different types of fastener profile with a single tool. Each spanner covers several systems: the metric sizes 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 19 mm, the corresponding imperial sizes from 5/16'' to 3/4'', Torx profiles from E10 to E24 and XZN from M8 to M19. This versatility reduces the number of spanners needed to cover mixed fasteners. The set has a gross weight of 0.72 kg and a pack size of 290x150x35 mm.

A combination spanner has an open end on one side and a ring end of the same size on the other, for tightening and loosening nuts and bolts.

What it is for

Used for tightening nuts and bolts where torque must be accurate and repeatable.

How to use it

Use the open end for running down or where the ring will not fit, and the ring end for breaking loose and final tightening, as it grips all the flats. Fit the spanner fully and pull it towards you rather than pushing, to avoid injury if it slips. Do not extend the handle with tubes and do not use the spanner as a hammer.
