What it is
The Fervi S052/2 magnetic dial indicator stand is a measuring tool for the firm positioning of dial indicators and gauges. It has a main rod of Ø 12 x 176 mm and a secondary rod of Ø 10 x 150 mm, with a 60 x 50 x 55 mm magnetic base and a magnetic force of 800 N that ensures a stable hold on ferromagnetic surfaces. The gross weight is 1.53 kg and the pack measures 280x100x75 h mm.
The magnetic base for dial indicators is a support with a switchable magnet and an arm or column, articulated or fixed, that holds the dial indicator or a measuring instrument steady on a metal surface.
What it is for
Used for clamping workpieces, in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.
How to use it
Clean the metal surface it will rest on, position the base and engage the magnet with the lever or knob. Bring the arm into position, fix the dial indicator and lock the joints, then zero the instrument on the reference point. After use, disengage the magnet and put the base away without knocking it.
