What it is
The Fervi S054 magnetic dial indicator stand is a bench accessory designed to position and hold a dial indicator steadily during measuring and inspection. Thanks to a magnetic base with a holding force of 600 N and a compact footprint of 63 x 50 x 55h mm, it fixes firmly to steel surfaces, providing a rigid reference. The articulated arm uses a main rod of Ø 12 x 170 mm and a secondary rod of Ø 10 x 165 mm, to orient the instrument into the most convenient position.
The magnetic base for dial indicators is a support with a switchable magnet and an arm or column, articulated or fixed, that holds the dial indicator or a measuring instrument steady on a metal surface.
What it is for
Used for clamping workpieces, in quality control of parts and workmanship and for measuring on site and in the workshop.
How to use it
Clean the metal surface it will rest on, position the base and engage the magnet with the lever or knob. Bring the arm into position, fix the dial indicator and lock the joints, then zero the instrument on the reference point. After use, disengage the magnet and put the base away without knocking it.
