What it is
The fill & fix Fischer chemical fixing is an injection solution for anchoring and filling, supplied in a 25 ml beige cartridge. It is designed for small fixings and repairs where a ready-to-use resin is needed, with a declared shelf life of 12 months. The blister pack contains 1 piece, a practical format for targeted jobs.
Chemical anchor is a two-component resin in a cartridge that, injected into the drilled hole, bonds threaded rods and internally threaded sockets to the substrate; the category includes mesh sleeves and injection accessories.
What it is for
Used for anchoring shelves, brackets and structures to walls, for chemical anchoring, where the load or edge distance rules out a mechanical anchor and for structural fixings, where the fixing is load-bearing and must be calculated.
How to use it
Drill the substrate to the specified diameter and depth, clean the hole with a brush and blow-out pump, repeating several times, and insert a mesh sleeve in hollow brick. Discard the first resin until the colour is uniform, inject from the bottom of the hole and insert the rod with a twisting motion. Apply load only after the curing time stated for the substrate temperature.
