Masonry drill bit SDS Plus II 8/100/400 Fischer

What it is

The Fischer SDS Plus II 8/100/400 masonry drill bit is designed for drilling masonry substrates with a drill fitted with an SDS Plus chuck. It has a drilling diameter of 8 mm, an overall length of 400 mm and a working length of 120 mm, values that make it suitable for drilling deep holes in masonry and building materials.

A masonry bit is a carbide-tipped bit for drilling concrete, brick and stone with a hammer drill or rotary hammer.

How to use it

Choose the machine's shank type (straight, SDS-Plus or SDS-Max) and the diameter required by the wall plug. Start the hole at low speed, then engage hammer action, holding the bit square to the surface and without forcing, withdrawing it frequently to clear the dust. Clean the dust out of the hole before inserting the plug.
