What it is

The rubber mallet is a hammer with a head in rubber or another soft material, used for tapping tiles and slabs to bed them into the adhesive without damaging them.
What it is for
Used for floor laying, from the screed to the finish and for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting.
How to use it
Give light, regular taps to the centre and then the edges of the tile, checking the level with the spirit level. Work while the adhesive is still workable and avoid hitting the corners. If the head gets covered in adhesive, clean it immediately and replace it when worn.
