The decoupling membrane is a layer laid between the substrate and the tiles: it separates the two layers and absorbs small stresses and movements; in electric systems it also provides the channel for the cable.
What it is for
Used for waterproofing roofs, terraces and below-ground structures, for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting and for heating homes and small premises.
How to use it
Lay it on a clean, flat, stable substrate, with the adhesive specified by the manufacturer. Treat the joints as directed. Place the cable following the instructions and tile over it, embedding it completely in the adhesive.
