Universal hi-vis absorbent pads 41x46 cm Carvel

What it is

Universal absorbent pads with a hi-vis print that draws attention to the spill point, designed for walkways and areas where there is a risk of slipping. The spunbond layer withstands foot traffic and use under machinery without tearing and releases very little lint. They absorb water, oils, diesel, coolants, cutting and hydraulic fluids, acetone and turpentine.

Industrial absorbents are pads, rolls, pillows, booms and kits that soak up spills of oil, chemicals or water and stop them spreading.

What it is for

Used for industrial maintenance of plant and machinery, for industrial cleaning of production areas, machinery and plant and for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan.

How to use it

Choose the absorbent for the liquid (oil-only, chemical or universal) and keep a spill kit ready near high-risk points. In the event of a spill, put on PPE, surround the spill with booms, cover the drain and lay pads and pillows from the outside towards the centre. Collect used absorbents in closed containers and dispose of them as waste according to the substance absorbed.

Safe use

Replace the pad when it is saturated and do not leave it wet on pedestrian walkways. Dispose of used pads according to the waste code of the liquid absorbed.
