Overflow inspection chamber Rototec

What it is

The overflow chamber is a hydraulic device for rainwater treatment plants (IPP/IPC): it channels the water to the treatment section and sends second-flush water to the bypass; designed for systems compliant with Italian Legislative Decree (D.Lgs.) 152/2006. Function: installed upstream of the plant, it allows the "overflow" of flows exceeding the design flow rate in continuous-rain systems, optimising the hydraulic flow control of yards, car parks and housing developments. Intended uses: urban sewer networks; industrial areas and car parks; housing developments and new urban areas. Technical advantages: separation of overflow/flow to the bypass (IPP/IPC); management of rainwater/mixed water in first-flush and continuous systems; one-piece rotomoulded PE structure with DN PVC/PE connections; compatible with Rototec underground installation methods.

The inspection chamber is a prefabricated chamber, usually plastic and buried, inserted along the drain line to inspect, sample, separate or treat the water, each type having a specific function.

What it is for

Used for water drainage and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems.

How to use it

Bury it on a levelled bedding, connecting the upstream and downstream pipes in the direction of flow and respecting the gradients. Bring the cover up to ground level and keep it accessible. Inspect and clean it at regular intervals, according to its function.
