What it is

Tile cutting and finishing equipment comprises manual tile cutters, hole saws and core bits, discs and abrasives for cutting, drilling, chamfering and polishing tiles and slabs.

What it is for

Used for laying tiles and slabs, from spreading the adhesive to grouting, for cutting ceramics and porcelain stoneware and for straight and shaped cuts in tiles and porcelain stoneware.

How to use it

On the tile cutter, align the tile against the fence, score it with a single continuous pass of the wheel and snap it with the breaker. Make holes and shaped cuts with hole saws or core bits on a drill or angle grinder, without hammer action and with cooling where specified. Finish edges and surfaces with progressively finer abrasives, wearing safety glasses and a dust mask.
