What it is

The ATS panel is an automatic transfer switch panel that connects the installation to the generator set when the mains fails and returns it to the mains when power is restored.

What it is for

Used to power construction sites where mains supply is unavailable or insufficient, for emergency power generation when the mains supply fails and for emergency power on construction sites, at events and in plants.

How to use it

It is installed by a qualified electrician, connected between the mains, the generator and the installation according to the manufacturer's diagram. Never connect a generator to the installation without a suitable changeover device. Check its operation periodically with a test.
