Plaster scraper art. 621. Key specifications: dimensions (mm) 330 x 140, grit 24, material Aluminium.
A float is a hand tool with a plate in plastic, sponge, rubber, polyurethane or steel for spreading, smoothing or finishing renders, mortars, fillers and resins.
What it is for
Used for finishing plaster, from floating to smoothing, for plastering walls and ceilings, by hand or by machine and for preparing surfaces before treatment.
How to use it
Choose the plate for the job: steel or notched for spreading and smoothing, sponge for finishing, rubber for grouting and resins. Work with the plate almost flat in circular or criss-cross movements, dampening the sponge when needed. After use, wash it immediately with water before the material hardens and replace the sponge when worn.
