What it is
De-icing salt. Key specifications: use thawing.
Technical salt is a granular or tablet product used to regenerate water softeners or to melt ice and snow on yards and walkways.
What it is for
Used for road safety and the protection of people working on the road and for workplace safety, as equipment required by the safety plan.
How to use it
For the water softener, load salt tablets into the brine tank, checking the level regularly and making sure no crust forms. As a de-icer, spread it evenly on yards, ramps and walkways, ideally before the frost, avoiding build-up near plants and delicate surfaces. Store in a dry place with the bag closed.
