What it is

The broom is a tool with a head of bristles or fibres mounted on a handle, for collecting dust, dirt and debris from the floor; the fibres range from soft for indoors to stiff for outdoors and workshops.
What it is for
Used for cleaning workplaces and communal areas, for cleaning large areas of industrial and commercial flooring and for sweeping yards, industrial buildings and outdoor areas.
How to use it
Choose the fibre according to the floor and the dirt: soft for smooth indoor floors, stiff for yards and sheds. Sweep with long strokes towards a collection point, without raising dust, and collect with the dustpan. After use, shake it out, wash it if necessary and hang it up so that the bristles do not become deformed.
