Portable tank in polyethylene for diesel with electric pump and automatic nozzle Carvel

What it is

Portable tank in rotationally moulded linear polyethylene, compact and lightweight, for carrying diesel to the vehicles to be refuelled. It has an electric pump that connects with crocodile clips to the vehicle battery, a 4 m flexible hose and an automatic shut-off nozzle. It qualifies for the ADR 1.1.3.1 c exemption and is available in 220 or 440 litres; the larger version can also be lifted with forks when full.

Tanks and cisterns are fixed containers, for above-ground or underground installation, for storing water, fuels or other liquids; the category includes stands and drum storage containers.

How to use it

Choose the tank according to the liquid and check that its material and approval allow it, especially for fuels and hazardous substances. Bed underground tanks on a level base and backfill according to the manufacturer's instructions; place drums on stands or in containers with a spill sump. Label the contents and periodically check seals and fittings.

Safe use

Use the tank for diesel only, connect the clamps to the battery observing the polarity, and lift it by the handles only when it is empty. During transport, secure it to the vehicle's load bed and stay within the limits of the ADR exemption.
