The battery respects the environment and is considered disposable (non-rechargeable), once exhausted it must not be dispersed into the environment, but must be handed over to specialized companies for compliance with current waste disposal regulations. The "air alkaline" battery technology is based on an exclusive use of active components typical of alkaline dry cells with cathode depolarization by means of oxygen present in the air. Advantages over other batteries: more limited battery changes; reduced control frequency; more time available for other tasks. The battery provides a constant voltage output throughout its lifespan; this means that the flashers, during working hours, will have optimal luminosity performance for a longer period of time. It contains neither mercury nor cadmium, which means a considerable reduction in waste volumes as a single "air-alkaline" battery is equivalent to 6 normal batteries.
