Data detection is carried out by a 24 Ghz Radar sensor capable of monitoring in real time the signal variations occurring on one or two lanes (depending on the required precision) and providing them to the digital board which processes the information and archives it on a suitable non-volatile support. The data recording support used is an economical and easily available SD Card which can contain an enormous amount of data (e.g., a 1Gb SD Card can archive up to two years of data in a medium-high traffic condition) and can be managed either locally (by replacing or copying the content of the SD Card to a PC) or remotely from a central operating unit. The remote communication necessary for tele-control of the equipment and data download is carried out through an integrated transmission module configurable according to needs in M2M (gsm data) or Gprs (transmission based on tcp/ip protocol) mode.
