II 401 of the Highway Code, is made up of a structure consisting of nr. 2 panels connected to each other by hinges that limit their opening and closing. The operation of the luminous signaling, present on the upper panel, can be controlled by means of an optical repeater and selected by means of an electronic control unit, which has a switch for choosing the light configuration of the headlights. The arrow, present on the lower panel, can be moved manually by unlocking the central spring pin. The power supply voltage for the luminous signaling can be 12 or 24V in direct current; this can be taken directly from the battery of the vehicle to which the structure is fixed. On the cover of the control unit there is a warning light (red) that indicates the state of charge of the batteries.
