Rescue knife Spatha Petzl

What it is

SPATHA is a Petzl accessory. It is intended for professional use in work at height, rope access and rescue, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Specialist knives have a blade and shape designed for a specific trade: stripping cables, hot cutting, edge trimming, working fabric or gold leaf.

What it is for

Used for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for cutting everyday site materials.

How to use it

Use each knife only on the material its blade is shaped for. Cut away from your body and, with a cable stripping knife, work only on de-energised cables. Rest the hot knife on its stand and let it cool before putting it away; clean the blades and sharpen or replace them when they no longer cut.
