What it is
Bostik trowels 540. Key specifications: thickness (mm) 0,40, colour Blue, width (mm) 80, 100.
A spatula is a flat blade, plain or notched, with a handle, for spreading, skimming, smoothing and scraping fillers, adhesives and mortars.
What it is for
Used for structural and assembly bonding, for floor laying, from the screed to the finish and for filling surfaces and joints.
How to use it
Choose the blade according to the job: plain and flexible for fillers and skim coats, notched for spreading adhesive at a uniform thickness, rigid for scraping. Load a small amount of material, spread it with the blade at an angle and go over it again with light pressure to smooth it. Clean immediately after use, before the material hardens.
