Professional ladder, Regina Large 4WD, Svelt

What it is

The Regina Large 4WD by Svelt is a professional folding step ladder with a 25.5x35 cm platform and a 60 cm safety rail, in high-strength, extra-wide aluminium. It has four spring-loaded wheels: when unloaded it can be pushed in any direction, while when you step on the first step the springs compress and the PVC pads rest on the ground, locking it in place. It ranges from 3 to 12 steps, with a platform from 0.69 to 2.77 m.

A portable ladder is a stepladder, extension, telescopic or combination ladder in aluminium or steel, for temporary work at height.

What it is for

Used for safe access to excavations, for work at height, where access and restraint must be ensured for the whole job and for maintenance at height on plant, roofs and facades.

How to use it

Before use, check the feet, steps and locking devices; open a stepladder fully, with the spreaders taut, on a stable surface. Set a leaning ladder at an angle of about one in four and make sure it extends beyond the landing point. Climb facing the steps with three points of contact, without exceeding the load capacity or moving the ladder with someone on it.
